Here’s how to track your passport application using the National Call Centre:  

• Dial the toll-free number “1800-258-1800” between 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  

• You’ll be connected to either an executive or an Automated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.  
• The toll-free number offers support in 17 languages, operating 24x7 to provide complete information related to passport application submission.  

• Provide your File Number and request the status of your passport.

How to Track Passport Dispatch Status via Indian Speed Post

To track the passport dispatch status, you must follow the steps given below: 

• Visit the passport seva portal 

• Go to the Check Passport Status section after logging in 

• Enter your application information, such as your date of birth and file number 

• After logging in, track the dispatch status of your passport via Indian Speed Post by entering a 13-digit tracking number which begins with “PP” for passport, and ends with “IN.”
